NMET书面表达的应试技巧
一、英语NMET考试简介
NMET(即National Matriculation English Test)是普通高等学校招生全国统一考试,是91年最新推出的面向已经通过高中英语毕业会考的学生所进行的英语高考常模参照性标准化考试。
英语NMET考试包括单项填空、完形填空、阅读理解、单词拼写、短文该错和书面表达等七大题型。其中,书面表达是最后一道题,共30分,占卷面总分的 20%。 但由于教学方法不当, 平时重视不够,加之受汉语的影响,学生们写的能力普遍较差。 因此,提高学生们写的能力是摆在我们面前十分重要的课题。
二、《大纲》对书面表达的具体要求
写是书面表达和传递信息的交际能力。培养初步写的能力,是英语教学目的之一。
写的能力要在读的基础上进行培养和提高。书面造句、回答问题、看图写话、写信、记日记等,都有助于培养写的能力。
三、《考纲》对书面表达的说明
书面表达题旨在测试考生的英语表达能力,看其是否能够运用学过的英语知识和掌握的技能进行思想交流。语言是交际的工具,有工具不会用,等于没有。因此,不论从选拔和培养人才的角度,还是从对教学反拨作用来看,此题都是必不可少的。
四、NMET书面表达的应试技能
1、英语书面语的书写、拼写、正字技能;
2、服务于特定目的的书写速度;
3、在一定的限度内的用词技能;
4、应用语法系统、结构与规则的技能;
5、运用不同的语法形式来表达意义的技能;
6、语篇的整合技能;
7、适用语篇贯例的技能;
8、根据不同交际目的,得体地发挥语段的交际功能;
9、运用逻辑关系手段,清楚地传达主旨、论据、已知信息、未知信息、概括和例证;
10、使用写作策略(根据读者对象调整文字表述,发挥构思技巧,力求表述一次到位,检索并利用已存信息,修改、校正等。
五、NMET书面表达的解题步骤
1、认真审题,弄清文体及要求;
2、分析题意,理解文章主旨;
3、利用技巧,表述文章要点;
4、根据文体,分段连句成篇;
5、通读全文,做到胸有成竹。
六、NMET书面表达的注意事项
纵观历年NMET试卷,可以看出书面表达题都采用指导性写作(guided writing)。要做好此题,应注意以下几点:
1、平时多练写作;
2 、不要猜题;
3、考试的时间有限,须合理安排;
4、短文必须切题,抓住要点;
5、多从交际的角度考虑问题,包括语言的得体性;
6、尽量消除汉语式的英语,用简练地道的英语写。
七、NMET 94'书面表达透析
提示:你校学生会将为来访的美国朋友举办一个晚会,要在学校广播中宣传此事,并欢迎大家参加。 为使美国朋友听懂,请你用英语写一篇广播通知。要点如下:
宗旨:欢迎来访的美国朋友 组织者:学生会
时间:8月15日(星期六)晚7:30 地点:主楼屋顶花园 活动内容:音乐、跳舞、唱歌、游戏、交换小礼品 (请包装好、签名并在包装外面写上几个祝愿词)
注意:1、广播稿约100词。
2、应包括以上要点,但不要逐字翻译,要组
织成一篇通顺连贯的短文。

首先审题,这是一篇广播稿,属于应用文体,做为口头通知其格式的首句已给出,叙述即将举行的晚会其时态应用将来式。其次即可将内容译成几个简单句:
1.The Student Union will hold a party on Saturday evening, August 15.
2.We'll welcome our(American) friends from the United States.
3.The party will be held in the roof garden of the main building.
4.The party will begin at 7:300 p.m./in the evening.
5.There will be music, dancing, singing, games and exchange of gifts.
6.Everyone should bring a small gift with him and wrap it up.
7.Remember to sign your name and write a few words of good wishes on it.
作为口头通知,可在结尾著上开会的时间和地点,以示强调。最后结束语可用"Every- one is welcome. That's all. Thank you."表示礼貌,也起到首尾照应的作用。
在此工作的基础之上,进行连句成篇。在连句成篇的过程中,要根据字数的具体要求,适当地替换词语,用适当的连词,按照通知的时间顺序,分层次段落组成短文。
最后,通读全文,检查是否已达到了题意的要求,文体是否得当,要点是否表达清楚,字数是否合适,时态、语态是否得当等。还要注意段落的缩进格式,注意句首和专有名次第一个的大写,保持一定的字距,卷面一定要整洁。

My name is Li Hua. I was born in Dalian, Liaoning province in February 1977. I started school in 1984 when I was seven. I studied in Guangming Primary School from 1984 to 1990. After that I went to No.62 Middle School of Dalian and graduated this summer.
